Smooth Operator
I came up with this comic in one of my classes. For some reason, my mind focuses best on random brainstorms and the like, when I’m in class or reading for class. Also, the best way I found to sleep is to study for my German class. Basically, studying for school helps me out for many things, except learning.

LOL, Adam, I’m laughing so hard I’m crying! Way to impress the chicks John! I wonder how many guys that has happened too? And I love that he turned blue! I’ve actually done that, not turned blue, but asked a girl out that I really liked and then when she said yes, I realized I hadn’t planned anything. I hadn’t really considered the possibility that she’d actually say yes. This is good stuff, man. Keep it up.

Thank you, sir! Yes, I’ve had my fair share of similar experiences such as this. The worst for me is calling a girl, and then getting the voicemail. I still have yet to master that one. Fortunately I haven’t passed out yet, but I’m giving it time.

I find the best solution to getting the voicemail (in general, not girls specifically) is to hang up. Sometimes people ring back and ask why I didn’t leave a message, however.
Out of idle curiosity (and this isn’t a criticism of your drawing style) what ethnicity is Yuri supposed to be? It’s usually a Russian boy’s name…!

Typically with people, generally my friends, I’ll leave completely bizzare voicemails. But I don’t hold a candle to one of my friend’s who makes up the most absurd things I’ve ever heard.
Yuri’s ethnicity is actually meant to be ambiguous at this time. Which is why I went with the name, because it can belong to so many types of nationalities and ethnicities. But I did decide on it before I introduced her as a character.
